Bath Salt trio
This bath trio from Icelandic Health includes sea bath salts derived from geothermal groundwater on the Reykjanes peninsula, kelp from Iceland's unpolluted coastal waters, pumice from Mt Hekla and moisturizing oils. No scent or coloring is added to the products.
Bath salt from Icelandic Health
Pure mineral bath salts from Reykjanes, containing a unique combination of natural minerals. These include: common salt (natrium chloride), magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate, moisture, potassium chloride, calcium () and trace elements (0.5%) including silicon, iron, lead, arsenic, copper and cadmium. The saline groundwater from which it comes is rich in salts and minerals needed by the skin to stay naturally healthy. They maintain dermal moisture, soften the skin and rejuvenate it. The minerals stimulate salt production in the cells and give tired skin a healthy glow. The salt is known for its beneficial effects on the skin, adding to the pleasure and relaxation of bathing. It is also said to have a healing effect on skin eczema. Free of perfumes or coloring substances, the salt dissolves quickly in water and is suitable for all types of skin. The contents of the salt vial are sufficient for 2-3 baths.
Kelp/Salt blend from Icelandic Health
Is made of pure Reykjanes geothermal salt, Kelp (Laminaria digitata and softening grape seed oil. The kelp grows in unpolluted waters along Iceland’s coast. It is ground to a fine powder which dissolves in hot water. Kelp is known for its beneficial effects on the skin. It softens and strengthens the skin. The viscous substances which it secretes soften, smooth and nourish the skin, adding moisture and a healthy appearance while strengthening and protecting the skin’s natural defense system. Free of perfumes or coloring substances, the kelp/salt blend dissolves quickly in water and is suitable for all types of skin. The contents of the kelp/salt vial are sufficient for 2-3 baths.
Pumice/Salt blend from Icelandic Health
Is made of pure Reykjanes geothermal salt, pumice from Mt Hekla and softening coconut oil. Pumice from Mt Hekla is unique: light, porous and cream colored. Although a stone, is has a surprising softness. Ground to a fine powder, it dissolves quickly in hot water. It cleans and strengthens the skin, removing dead skin cells and preventing calluses from forming. Free of perfumes or colouring substances, the pumice/salt blend dissolves quickly in water and is suitable for all types of skin.
